I'm not sleepy, and it's only 9:47pm- but I almost went to pee in the shower, so maybe I should go to bed.

9:20 am - C'est La Vie
|
What is interesting about a usual morning? A cluttered desk rippling reflections of what my life has become. An empty room stealing away streaks of shadows through closed blinds. On my floor, only shoes, no longer do they float amidst chaos, but stand lonely amongst order. I wonder, as moments such as these linger on, when I'm silent and thoughtful... am I really thinking... or am I simply staring in melancholy. Thinking or feeling.. which one is it that I do?

8:08 am - A letter to my LCD.
|
Dear Mr. Monitor,
I thought it a great convenience to replace my CRT monitor with you, nearly a year previous to this date. Wonderful predictions of economized desk space and snacking grandeur were carried with me the day I brought you to my dorm room- but alas, how you have failed me so! In my foolish and whimsical fantasies I had dreamed you would give me desk space, and vibrant color. As I sit thinking about the hours I've spent calibrating your screen, and the trouble I have gone through to find your missing calibration program, I do miss my CRT! Please, for want of digital art, I wish to once more let my graphire tablet reclaim its home on my desk, and practice that mystical thing, called pixel painting. I fear I have grown rusty in your presence, and in my laziness. Together, I hope we may sort out this minor obstacle together.
Sincerely, Judd Jackson

1:35 pm - North Carolina.
|
I've been up in North Carolina and Tennessee. The occasional coffee shop has a wireless internet connection, other than that, I'm without internet. I'll be back near the beginning of next month.
I want a chocolate malt.

8:40 am - Yay, coffee!
|
I tried to sleep last night, got about two hours, and then I decided to pull through the day after I hit the 5am mark. Went to the beach, had some yogurt, and then came back. I plan on going to bed early tonight, thus putting myself back on the right morning track! I have been sleeping until noon lately.. really kills the amount of daylight you get.
Today is brought to you by coffee. Yay, coffee.

10:27 pm - Interesting.
|
--------
Found this on the livejournal of the person who writes Blue Monday, one of my favorite comics next to Urusei Yatsura, which Blue Monday's author also happens to like.
Man, I partied it out the first three days after school ended, I made it a point to make sure the hours between 1am and 7am were when I was most awake. I told myself that everything would change this summer, so I had better party out as hard as I can. Now I've been going to bed 11-12pm, working on lowering it down to 8-9pm, and have a regular morning schedule including exercise, and a bit of studying. I wonder if I'll succeed in improving myself this summer. More later if I have the time, I have to go to bed.

4:53 am - Step back and laugh.
|
I've had the opportunity to run through many different groups, and so I've been able to see a lot of trends. However, I've begun to recently come to the conclusion that high integration into any group is quite dangerous. When a circle too seriously, drama begins to curdle in the wake of the group's movements, identities are created within the framework, ideas begin to limit, and the ability to interact outside of the group may sometimes dwindle.
The party on cloud 9 is boring and unhealthy, so just fly me to the moon.

3:10 am - Hot bath.
|
A hot bath is probably one of my most treasured personal luxuries- the fact has become unmistakeable now more than ever since living at the dorms has provided me only a shower with meager pressure to satisfy my need for soaking. Ah, at least they have Galaga.
Now I'm at home, and although I no longer have complete privacy, I have a hot bath. Whenever I have a problem or something on my mind that I need to concentrate on, I go take a hot bath. Regardless of whether I obtain a solution or not, I always feel refreshed afterwards. A cold bottle of water seems to be a particularly appreciable nuance lately as well.

1:50 am - Mysterious Nostalgia
|
I found some 80's Japanese language videos on the network, along with some current TV episodes. Real television shows, not anime. I've also found several japanese music videos and there seems to be movies available as well.
The 80's videos and the settings within the current TV shows bring to my mind a certain nostalgic feeling that I can't quite comprehend. Not 80's in an american sense, it's as if I knew about these places inherently, but could not recreate the feeling. This nostalgia, appearing intermittently in the past, flowed freely when seeing the settings and compositions taking place- disregarding the storyline. How interesting..

6:51 am - Another quiz.
|
Your element is Water: Understanding, intelligent, quiet and calm. You know who you are and no one can change that. Usually quiet but only because your listening, don't let anyone think you haven't got an opinion! Your not quiet because your shy or sad, your usually quiet because your thinking. Your answers are well planned and helpful so people generally seek your advice. Your the perfect balance between solitary and outgoing. But sometimes you need a little time to yourself to sort out your emotions and figure things out. You understand the phrase 'sticks and stone' and rarely let things get to you, whats that important for you to have to get so upset over? You know what you want out of life but are simply taking your time and enjoying things. To you your life is fine as it is, you can always change things later if your not happy.

6:34 am - Hm.
|

You are a Samurai. You are full of honour and value respect. You are not really the stereotypical hero, but you do fight for good. Just in your own way. For you, it is most certainly okay to kill an evil person, if it is for justice and peace. You also don't belive in mourning all the time and think that once you've hit a bad stage in life you just have to get up again. It's pointless to concentrate on emotional pain and better to just get on with everything. You also are a down to earth type of person and think before you act. Impulsive people may annoy you somewhat.

I spent an all night on my project, then fell asleep around 5am last night. Woke up around 2-4am this morning. It feels good to wake up early and experience the late night.
